Our client is looking for a candidate with exceptional leadership skills who is an organized and dedicated professional. In this role you will be responsible for the accounting and financial functions of the company. You will be responsible for collaborating with all departments and come with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly reports (Cost to Complete, WIP, Cost to Complete, etc.)
• Planning and directing all accounting operational functions.
• Prepare internal and external financial statements.
• Coordinating activities of external auditors.
• Responsible for managing the budget process.
• Evaluating accounting and internal control systems.
• Oversee regulatory reporting, including tax planning and compliance.
• Hire, train, and mentor skilled accounting staff.

_ Qualifications_

§ Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

§ Experience in the construction industry.

§ 7 years in an accounting role

§ CPA, CGMA, CMA, preferred

_ KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS_

§ Understanding and ability to manage the accounting functions for large commercial and industrial projects.

§ Smartsheet/DocuSign/ Adobe PDF Editor

§ MS Office 365, Outlook, Accounting software such as Raken or Tekla

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
